It was my understanding that the backplate sensor would also work with my old GV-1. I installed it last night and all the display on my GV-1 says is 22% all the time whether I am spinning the engine or not.
Any ideas?

Matt

Are you turning the engine over with a starter?

I can't remember if the GV-1 shows your max sensor reading? I don't think it does.

It's normal for it to show 22%. With the GY701, if you spin the engine over, it will record the max reading %, which is usually 80-84%

You are correct, the GV-1 only shows current Sensor reading, no max hold. So if it is reading 22% and you say that is normal, I'll go ahead and finish the install and fly it to test it out.

Thanks, Matt
