But that's the point...its not on par with things out there.

The normal sized servos arn't even the quality of Align servos and those arn't the best either.

I love e-flight because some of their stuff is under 300 bucks and is very durable, inexpensive to repiar and extremely fun to fly(i.e. MCPX which is what they should be concentrating on).

The 300 and 500 helis TRY to compete with the big boys and they fall on their face. Every e-flight heli that has competed with an align heli has fallen on its face. The ONLY good part about the heli is the BeastX all in one system. Now if these marketing guys were smart they would have the fbl unit with the 300 sized EXCLUSIVELY for about 1 year. From there people could justify spending the funds to buy the heli and potentially transferring the BeastX to their 90. Keep in mind a fbl system cost about 220 and an rx is about 100 so spending a tad more on a heli you can play with for a week, crash and then mount the system on your 90 sized would be a great thing!!

All I know is the marketing team at e-flight did well with the mcpx but failed horribly on the execution on the next line of helis!

when you break down the parts in the kit it's 239$ for the all in 1 RX
which is not a bad deal for a RX and a beastX and the balance is the kit with servos, esc and motor + blades

overall IMO not bad as for prices, very on par with whats out there
IMO it's not even close to whats out there. The quality just isn't there ( based on their past offerings) and then there will be the inevitable parts shortage for months (also based on past offerings). I just don't see value here.

The pilot is very good as for the 300 I have yet to see a Blade offering preform right out of the box. Horizon even made the SR look good in their promo video.

Blade 450X is now showing as in stock on both bladehelis.com and horizon hobby. Do you think this heli will be worth the price difference over a Blade 450 3D.

IMO the Blade 300X and 450X are a good price because they come with a $200 BeastX (AR7200BX)

I agree, especially on the 450X. Your getting the beastX plus a better BEC ESC, as well as a charger and a battery. All that for only $200 over the 450 3D which is BNF basic only...so not even a battery

Wouldn't waste my hard earned money on those, if I did I would sell the everything, keep BeastX and buy an Align or Protos frame. They look like something Xheli would sell. My two cents

I would just really like to see how different a FBL 450x or even Trex 450 3GX would feel than a flybared Blade 450 3D. I know people say they are much crisper and more steady, but hard to know until I give it a try and fly one

And yeah, if they came out with a brushless mCPx I would be all over that.
