Hello Gents...
I am on the fence on what direction I am going to go...
What is the difference in frame rate?
JR offers a 3yr warranty and Futaba a 1yr....
I would appreciate the input...

A couple of threads already on this.

Pick one, they will both fly your heli.

I think it would depend on what you are use to. I have had both, liked the 9503 because I was kind of use to it, The 8fg, I didn't spend the time to learn it, It was different than anything I had used..

If you are starting from scratch, I would say the 8FG. I am a Spektrum user (9303) and have had nothing but good service with them. That being said, the 8FG is really in a different league. 14 possible channels and updatability with a card alone is worth it. The programming is not intuitive and you want to claw your own eyes out setting things up but once you learn it the 8FG is a great radio. If you do decide to get the 9503 it will work very well for you as well.

I had an x9303 (same as the 9503) and then bought an 8FG. Soon afterwards I sold the 9303.
The 8FG can do so much more. It offers so many options in terms of customability and switch assignability it's like nothing else.
I used to be skeptical about latency claims, but the 8FG feels so much better. I feel a lot more "connected" to the helicopter with the 8fg.

I switched from the 9303 to the 8FG Super and don't regret it. As others have said it takes a little to get used to the programming. To me now it is as easy as the 9303 was. I agree with dood it has a more locked in feeling. Even my Trex 450 flies better with the radio and the only think changed was the radio system. Every thing else stayed true same. You won't regret getting the 8FG but both are good radios. Chuck
