Gear ratio is main gear tooth count divided by pinion tooth count so in your case its 1:11.428 or just 11.428.

520kv x 44.4v = 23088 motor rpm

23088 / 11.428 = 2020 rotor rpm - This would be a rough maximum rpm at 100% throttle.

60% of the time, it works every time!

Gear ratio is simply main gear tooth count divided by pinion tooth count.

160/14 = 11.43

If you are looking for headspeed, this calculator is great.

Because it is a ratio
11.428 is a number.
1:11.428 is a ratio.
For every 1 turn of the main rotor, it takes 11.428 turns of the motor.
So by itself 11.428 would mean nothing....

^^^what he said! lol.

Also when you see heli gear ratios written down like this: 8.5:1:4.5 (Trex 600N) it means Engine revs. : Main gear revs. : Tail revs., so for every 8.5 revs. of the engine you get 1 rev. of the main gear (head) and 4.5 revs. of the tail.

60% of the time, it works every time!
