Should I ??
Several years back, I built a Heli for video work. This was about 15 years back.

Twin engine.
Could lift over 50 LBS.
Gas.
Could hover on one engine.

Check out picture in gallery.

This was a very large stable Heli.

I am considering building another. What do you think ??

That's cool.

Only question I have is when do you have the need for that much cargo? These days video and camera equipment gets smaller and lighter all the time.

How about a dual electric setup scaled down?

This heli was designed over 15 years back.It was featured in the Sony booth at the National Broadcast Association show in LAS Vagas at that time.

Their small camara at the time weighed 4 LBS. It also had 1GH
Telemetery.

It also had to be able to land under power. Thus it will fly on one engine.

There were also military prospects.

A lot has changed in 15 years. Total weight of equipment was
30 LBS.

But the best part was IT WAS STABLE !!

It did start off as a Futura. At the time it was the only airframe with enough strength to take the mods. Had two Hanson engines.
