Would recommend 160. Sport 3d produces 166'ish amps for me.

Weights
Before selecting a motor compare the weights to power output. The KDE motor is a monster in both arenas.

I have been looking closely at it but it is really heavy.

No,No..The other left!

No argument about that
Power and efficiency are excellent. Does it make up for the weight? That is a personal decision for each person to make.

Very efficient compared to what? I know is a cranker but is the only one that requires a minimum 160A esc compared to the Scorpion 4525 LE or Xera 4530, because it spikes much harder.

Can you explain why is more efficient?

tnx

from wattage and amp spikes based on past experience with other motors it appears to run very efficiently. doesn't seem to pull unreasonable spikes with 14 degrees of pitch. just my experience so far with the motor. have no complaints.

for further details you might communicate with kde on specs and data.

if you aren't comfortable with it there are other options.

I read the motor specs, and they are, quite impressive.

Not arguing with you, I just like to see logged data if you have some that can share/post.

The numbers loving geek in me gets exited with graphs showing power in, voltage, and motor power out

thanks!
