yea i have seen those in the past just hoping i could get some recipes for the equipment that i have esp the sauce. I don't have a smoker which i have been told can make them the best. My bbq is gas btw and would look tiny compared to some of the ones I've seen on here lol

Can't help with the sauce as I buy mine from a small place down the street cause it is good. But smoking on a small gas grill is not a problem. Check my post 3rd one down on that. Pulled pork that melts in your mouth!

Baby back pork ribs
[size=small]
I like to dry rub my ribs with:
Sea salt,pepper,cayenne pepper,cumin, garlic powder and onion powder. Then smoke them for 3-4 hours and finish them off in the oven till they fall off the bone. I sometimes keep them dry and have a sauce on the side or apply a vinegar mopping sauce while they are cooking in the oven. Hope that helps. Heat needs to be low. Slow and low is the name of the game with BBQ.

BBQ is

60% preparation < marinade, sauce making, cut of meat >

30% Patience < making sure you have everything right with temps and cooking time, and watching it cook to ensure you flip it at the exact moment it needs it. knowing when to add the sauce, or water >

10% is how you eat it < it is a known fact that anything you eat with your fingers is going to turn out 200% better. leave the forks for the pie >

the only other thing I can add, is try new things. often I have found, that things that sound nasty, often turn out awesome.

a few of My favorite marinades for BBQ ribs are

Italian dressing <wish bone zesty>
wash the ribs, put them in a bag and fill the bag with the dressing and let them sit in the fridge over night.

Buttermilk is a good one also.

I don't add the BBQ sauce until the last 5 minutes on the grill.

if I am going to smoke anything, its going to be salmon or chicken wings =p
