Wasn't sure where to post this, but, didn't wan't anyone else to loose funds dealing with this guy.

DjNsayne listed a Spektrum DX7 for sale back in December. I paid him for it on December 14th and never got the TX or my funds returned.

Sorry to see you get scammed. One thing I check besides feedback is does the seller fill out his profile, does he enter discussions about other topics, does he have a gallery showing. A lack of these shows a possibility of communication skills and possibly a problem on high ticket items. Now these items don't mean it is a bad seller, it is just a red flag to me to be cautious and maybe get a phone number from the seller.
He has not posted for 44 days, did he read your pm's ?

I think about the hereafter. I go somewhere to get something, then wonder what I'm here after ?

I did file a claim with PayPal. Unfortunetly, when the seller did communicate with me and explained the shipping error, I mistakenly believed him and closed the claim before I recieved the transmitter. Somuch for being trusting.

No he didn't read any PM's. He did respond to a few of my text messages to his cell phone, but he did not follow though on what he said.

I ALWAYS pay my pay pal with American Express. If pay pal won't help you (which is usually the case) Amex will side with you, their cardholder. Do not pay the bill and start a dispute; you will not have to pay. American Express credit card, the only way to go.

Just so you guys know, Bank of America WILL NOT side with you.

They are the most crooked, non customer oriented bank around. It's a shame they carry the name Bank of America...granted the USA has had a few issues that we are trying to sort out BOA is doing the opposite and has horrible customer service and they side with the vendor, not the card holder.

I had a similar PP issue but the seller and I figured stuff out. In regard to my bank, I was advised by pay pal to have the bank refund my money for the first payment due to the 80 day fund release period(I have an email from them as proof) and just repay him which I did. I explained to BOA and they agreed and I though all was good until a month later. First they sent me a letter that said the credit has been added to my account and not to worry about it. Next week they tell me they credited paypal and that I was SOL due to lack of proof or some BS. Instead of call me and ask me for more proof which I provided just recently after the fact they just side with the vendor...

All I know is a soon as I get this latest BOA issue solved I'm completely switching banks.

Stay away from Bank of America!!!!

Glad to hear Am Ex is customer oriented.

Yet another reason to have a "Scammer Forum". This would keep everyone updated, and send a warning to others to put a little black dot by their name. In addition, pilots in the surrounding area could look for him at the field.

Not totally true concerning Bank of America.I just recently had a dispute with a vendor and BOA could'nt have been better about it.They credited my account immediately after I complained. Then after about a 2 month investigation, sent me a letter stating the matter was resolved and closed.

I do'nt crash,I just rearrange parts.

That is the reason I stopped banking there 30years ago.
Interesting to see nothing has changed.

I also had a problem with a B of A VISA card several years ago. Someone fraudulently charged about $100 on my card which I disputed. After going through the painstaking steps of arguing that the charge was not mine (an item shipped to another state), a final decision was made; that the charge was in fact mine and I owed the money! I finally got the problem ironed out but not without a lot more pain than it was worth. Bottom line: pay your B of A statement on time, don't have any conflicts and you should be fine. But don't expect quality customer service from this organization although it might occasionally happen.

American Express, on the other hand, is ALL ABOUT customer service. Make sure that you have a 'credit card' from American Express and you will never get burned again, ever!

I've also heard bad stories about B of A from friends and family here locally where I'm at.

As for PayPal, same with them as far as getting any money back.

Anything I buy over 50 dollars goes on my Chase Visa card. I had an issue with a guy on Ebay that never sent me a heli. PayPal couldn't do anything unless the guy actually had money in is PayPal acct. Chase Visa credited my acct. and they went after him, I assume.

It did cost me a few bucks, I think, but at least I wasn't out for the whole amount.

DO NOT REALLY ON PAYPAL. They are an absolute joke when it comes to being scammed and getting your money back.

Then if you can find the guy, go break his #%$^$^ing hands and arms so he has some scarring and life long pains to remind him not conduct himself that way.

Sorry for the rant, I get a little emotional over thieves. I also lost a couple of quads all decked out along with a trailer a while back so I know your pain.
No insurance so it was about a 15K bath I took.

Theives suck. I had someone steal the grill and lighting off my Jeep sitting in front of my house 2 weeks ago in broad daylight. Cops say to me, "do you have any idea who may have done this?" My reply to them was,"If I knew who it was I wouldn't need you now would I?" Too many scams going on anymore.

The world is yours!
