Saw that at the LHS yesterday. WOW! Makes the HPI Baja I used to have look like a toy.

This is great news, because the resale value of the HPI is going to drop tremendously and I'll be able to afford the used HPI Baja I've always wanted!
Currently, the HPI Baja (used) sells for almost as much as they sell for new. They hold their resale value like Gibson guitars.

Meh.

Cars are fun for a little while, but you can never pull back on the stick and take off. But it is big.

The difference is, cars are something that my boy and I can both enjoy, where helis are more solo. Sure, he likes helis, but he isn't at the point where he can really fly them, as opposed to our RC Trucks that we can go out and bash around with and both have a great time. With the helis I feel bad that he is just watching, or on the buddy box.

Cars are great to get a young kid into the hobby, develop some hand/eye coordination, and have a sense of independence. Not to mention the mechanical skills, family time, and responsibility of keeping his stuff under control and in good shape.

Group activity vs solo. Different types entirely.

Eury- I couldn't agree more. Cars are a great introduction to the hobby!

This hobby is like Kryptonite to chicks!
