Jet Ranger
Just drug my Cobra Jet Ranger out of moth balls. Took it apart a couple years ago to freshen up and update. Just getting around to putting it back togther. My Question is: Which head to use. Had a pro head on it before. Was thinking flybarless but now I'm thinking the custom head with coning. looks a little more scale. What ya all think?

Back in the day I turned a few pro heads into flybarless. No fancy electronics, just an idler arm setup similar to the one on the legend.

I'm thinking about going with the custom head w/flybar then after I get all the bugs worked out maybe build a flybarless custom head. That would be very scale correct (I think )

Those Custom heads scare me. Seems like a 4mm bolt into aluminum is not really up to the task of holding a blade grip on. The Pro head is much stronger with the both the 3mm and the 6mm bolt. Anyone ever throw a blade with a Custom?
