Hi all,

Just upgraded to the DX8 from my trusty DX7 in an attempt to solve elusive radio issues indoors. In setting up my various models I think I have run across at least a conceptual issue if not an actual bug.

I have a model that uses flaperons. I have the flaps programmed to the flight mode switch since it is easier to reach in flight than the predefined flap switch. All works fine, the flight mode switch actuates the flaps and the flap switch does not.

However, I find that when I set up the warning system, the flap warning looks at the position of the predefined flap switch instead of the flight mode switch. This renders the flap warning on power on un-usable. The flap warning should be looking at the flap signal, not a hard wired switch. Or did I miss something?

yea,

Funny about that.

Horizon aka Spectrum is new at programming. You might write them about that.

I plan on writing HH. Thought I'd post here first in case I really did miss something, though.

While we're at it, am I the only one that thinks throttle and pitch curves are displayed much better in the DX7? The DX8 representations of throttle and pitch curves look very crude and blocky compared to the DX7. Not terribly important, granted, but I was surprised.
