It worked like I thought, the servo moved. The esc still works but you cant calibrate it. I'm going to calibrate it on another receiver and then move it over. Hopefully an update will come out soon to enable it.

Solved my problem, you just need to power the unit with an external BEC and then you can calibrate fine.

Very disappointed that, for the $'s, they do not come with a Satellite rx. Needs to be dsmx sat btw. So, another $30-40 cost for most of us.

Cheers,

Sats
Well, it can only take one SAT., and not that bad for a built in Dsmx Rx.

The old BeastX is made in Germany and this new AR7200BX is made in China.

Says
The manual says DSM2 compatible but it stipulates DSMX Sats only, will not work with DX6 Park flyer transmitter.

The manual says:

Compatible with DSM2 and DSMX transmitters, but WHEN you use a satellite, that satellite MUST be a DSMX satellite. Use of a DSM2 satellite will result in bad things happening.

The manual also says a satellite must be used in 500 or larger helis. It is NOT required for helis smaller than a 500.
The old BeastX is made in Germany and this new AR7200BX is made in China.
Funny thing about modern electronics. Automated pick and place machines and automated IR and vapor-phase soldering processes don't KNOW they're in Germany, or China. I wouldn't be surprised if the Beastx stuff isn't built somewhere other than Germany.

Very nice looking Trex500 ncarbon. Probably no big deal but I would place your Sat Rx on the other side of your frames (right instead of left) so you get the best coverage possible on both sides of your CF frames.

Probably
I may switch it, as I tried different mounting positions for the AR7200BX I just left it where it was when I had the 3GX on.
