hi there,
im using a spektrum ar7100r in one of my 50 sized machines. i would like to run a 2s lipo for a receiver battery but i cant find a 6v reg that will fit between the battery and the receiver leads i tried using a castle bec but that burned up.... any suggestions? is anyone else doing this?

Yes but on a few slots, the cyclics still run on battery voltage correct?

I am using the align 2 + 1 regulator with mine.drops it to 5.8 volts

Yes, cylics still run on battery voltage. What servos are you using?

Using a seperate reg with that receiver is redundant and pointless IMO. If you don't have 8V cyclic servos, just use a LiFe pack!

Look at Perfect Regulators Spekline
I use it on my AR7100R - it is perfect for this application

im using spektrum 6040 servos for the cyclic. i know i could get a different pack, but when i have a ton of lipos laying around it seems smarter to just use a reg
