I'm thinking I'm gonna drop down to this Kv on my evo. Anybody running it?

Looking at 15-2000rpm. Prob 93/11. Seems to make more sense then the 470Kv I'm at now. Would put me in the middle of the main gear tooth range as well as the pinion range. With 470 I'm at the limit with 9.5. More teeth maybe I won't strip as many gears this year, 400Kv just seems like it would be a better choice to me.

I tried 400 kV with that ratio last season. Power was poor; the gearing wasn't tall enough regardless of what the calculators predicted. To get it where it really needed to be, I would have had to have been down in the very low 8's on ratio. YMMV, of course, especially since you are using TP packs and that motor is a diesel engine, but you may want to try 11/91.
