Im still building but I am using an AR8000. The main RX sits on the battery (on the font tray) with the antena pointing straight forward. The satellite is mounted on the vertical in back between the second and third tray with the antenas pointing to either side.

This should give me full coverage (well thats the plan )

I will post them when I get home from work tonight.

I imaging you can still mount them the same way with the RX mounted sideways (antenas pointing front and back)

You can see the top one mounted to the front face of the radio tray behind the G-T5 which I have since moved to the top for easy access to the touch panel of the G-T5.

Receiver antenna must be horizontal and satellite wires vertical
Incorrect. It does not matter which unit is vertical or horizontal. As long as both the satellite and receiver are on different planes. (vertical/horizontal)
