frenzy dx6i setup
Hi guys
Just about got my Frenzy 50 flying but need help with the radio setup.
I'm looking for just the basic settings to get me flying. I have a lot of time on 450 size electrics but this is my first nitro.
In addition to the basics,i.e., dr/expo, travel adjust, gyro ( i have the gy520)throttle and pitch curves, and swash mix, I am confused about the swash type settings. I have heard that I can use both the ccpm 120 setting or the 1 servo 90 setting. These are the only 2 available on the dx6i. I do intend on getting a better radio soon, but want to get started with this first.
Sorry if this has been posted in the past, i did a search and couldn't find anything.....thanks again, great site!!

It would depend on your servo configuration on TZ Frenzy, by defualt it uses 120deg configuration, but you can upgrade it to the 135deg configuration.

3 servo 120deg would be my bet.

The frenzy can be setup for either a 120 or 140 ccpm config. Mine is set for the 120. But i'm still not clear on what setting to use for the dx6i setting under swash type. My only two choices are the single 90 setting or 120ccpm setting. It seems to make sense that it would be the 3 servo 120 setting as that is how the frenzy is configured. But again i have heard that you can use both on the dx6i with the frenzy.
NEED SETTINGS AND HELP...somebody out there must have a frenzy or equivalent heli linked to a dx6i.

Unless your heli is flybarless, and you are using a stabilization system, your setting should be 120ccpm.

If you are using a stabilization system and are flybarless, use the instructions for that system.
The government cannot give you anything without first taking it from someone else.
