I sent 3 servos for warranty because they would not center from the day I purchased them.

Horizon recieved them on 12/22/11, I called a week later and they had no status on them.

Then I called 2 weeks later and was told 1/20 I would receive them. Of course that didn't happen.

I called today and now I am told 2/20 I would get the servos. Sorry but if you sell a product keep some for warranty. You would think a company would forecast these issues.

I asked for manager and first words out do the reps mouth is they're going to tell me the same thing. At this point I want my money back to go with another company's product.

And to speak with a manager I have to wait another 48hrs for a call back. Really? This isn't the level of service I have had from them in the past.

Sometimes Horizon Hobbies is slow to fix stuff, but they almost always do it for free and give you free return shipping. So sit back and relax. You'll get your servos back soon enough.

Nothing but good things to say about horizon and the support group there! I have sent in RX's and recieved new updated RX's at no charge, sent in my TX, and recieved the new DSMX TX. They go beyond for the customer when they dont have to. May I ask what servo's you are having centering issues with?

Dont worry about HH. You will get them repaired for free, or brand new ones sent to you.

I would have to agree that horizon hobby has great service. When I have ever asked for a replacement defective part I received it within a few days. Once I had a Tx fall from the work bench breaking gibbles and a toggle switch. I told them about my misshap and they repaired for free including parts and shipping back. Wow! I will tell you how ever I also used to work in the hobby retail business and they are not the only ones involved when trying to get things. If you were told that it was out of stock and you would have it on day X , that's because they were also expecting it from their supplier from the other side of the ocean. Later the supplier pushes that delivery day back. Then in the end you don't get your item the day you hoped. Be patient and horizon will deliver.

HH has always been great in service. If you think they are bad try Hobbico Services. With them I got my Futaba servos back and I couldn't tell they did anything and there was no explanation what they did or found.

Yes a manager did try to call me after I posted. I have been dealing with this for awhile now and just tired of them telling me dates.
tomorrow I will give him a call.

I have a few pm's from others that have had related issues and I respect they're privacy.

Ok I just got off the phone and they made things right.

For those reps in any company stop trying to get the customer off the phone. It makes you and your company look bad. Apparently in this situation they would of made the customer happy regardless of the situation.

Manager Mike kudos to you. Obviously an asset to HH.

Ch47C,

If you would like to PM me, I can let you know what was done on your servos.

We always send back an invoice with the parts used or any comments our technician has on your workorder. This may have been missing from your repair package when you got it back. But I'll be more than happy to look into this for you or mail you a new invoice with the informaiton.
HH has always been great in service. If you think they are bad try Hobbico Services. With them I got my Futaba servos back and I couldn't tell they did anything and there was no explanation what they did or found.
Sincerely,
