Researching some battery options for the TDR.

Can you guys tell me through your experience what has
been the best overall battery experience - not the most expensive, not the cheapest, but the best overall bang for the buck?
A good strong battery, that I'll get a reasonable amount of cycles.

Thanks,
Jeff

IMO this greatly depends on what you are goals are and what the setup is.. specifically.

what motor? which pinion, which target head speed? flying style?

there are many combinations where a 25c 4000mah pack is not a good idea.. but others where that will work great.

+1 on braindrain, i use gensace (2) 6s 4000 25C with great results for a mix of fast big air, and smooth 3D (though i do smack it around occasionally)

Those are good, but in my opinion too pricy.

Nope, my TP 65c have been worth every penny so far. I think the ~4500mah is the perfect balance of weight and power for a 700 electric.

No, they come in many sizes and serial layouts, not just 4400ma

My question is, Is any other brand battery capable of delivering 65C anywhere close as Thunder Power?

I wish! Actually I was using the Voltz 6s 5100mAh 65c, the Thunder Power out preform the Voltz by a mile and have lasted twice of what the Voltz have and they are still running strong.

Buying these TP packs was twice the investment!

I did try telling him, but it was just too entertaining.

He did go faster backwards than more than half of the contestants. That's a TDR for you in capable hands
