LOL, thanks
I didn't realize they had those changes.

So I have the grips that require the nut, would you recommend I get the new balls that use a bolt?

Fnity: I "think" that the bolt and screw blade grips are the same.

Tattoo: Only of you are left with threads in your blade grips that you cannot remove. else I would guess they are fine. I am still using the old style. Some 480 flights later they are working great.

Are the new balls and bolt a CYE upgrade or an aftermarket part that is available thru FastLad only? Did you ream out the threads on the blade grips/blade holders or is it a different part number?

I've been using the new blade grip ball with the screw for a while now and it works great, much easier on the blade grip in a crash.

I've not heard of anyone having the elevator pushrod break, it does appear as though it was broke in the crash since there is a bend in the rod. sorry that happend...hope you get her going soon.

I know, ^^^ is putting everything but the subject out of focus. Nicely done.

TA,
Were you doing the chaos or it was doing the chaos on its own during the failure?

I had a linkage rod bend real good in a crash as well. Sometimes it's hard to find out the exact cause.
