Need wiring help: BeastX - AR7100R - JR8900G
I have the BeastX, AR7100R and JR8900G. My rx battery is 6.6V LiFe. How do I do the wiring such the I can make use of the AR7100R internal step down to bring the JR8900G tail servo voltage to 5.2v?

I split the J8900G servo lead. The signal wire goes to the ch4 on BeastX and the +ve and -ve wires go to the rudder channel on AR7100R.

Would that work?

Change to LiPo and use the Perfect Regulators Spekline 6v/6.5v regulator.

It might have low enough overhead to allow a LiFe battery, but it works best with a LiPo

It plugs into the main leads on the AR7100R and battery. No hacking required.

It provides 6v or 6.5v (switch selectable) on the unregulated servo leads and 5.2v on the regulated outputs (throttle, gyro and gyro gain).
It delivers 10amp continuous and up to 16amp peak. It is pre-wired with Dean's connectors.

I use it. It has been solid as a rock.
