Got this engine in a heli I bought. The engine is sound but it has fuel problems and some owner along the line has disassembled the regulator and carb. Before I order up parts, I want to at least get it reassembled and try to run it to make sure I order all parts I might need. I have several YS .91 engines but have never had need to go into the regulator.

The question I have concerns the regulator diaphragm. The diaphragm, for lack of better description, has a black center piece which is large in diameter on one side and small in diameter on the other. Which side is supposed to rest against the fuel inlet lever arm?

The older I get, the fewer things seem worth waiting in line for.

Hey Tom,

I've got one installed in Dad's Predator, but have no idea what orientation you need. If you don't get an answer on here tonight, give Richard at YS a call tomorrow, 775-267-9252

Hope the snow hasn't hit you too hard!
