I've been running the BEC pro on one of the 6S packs for probably 3 yrs now without issue. Back when I started, I forgot to check one set of batts before I put them in to fly, and they over discharged and puffed. But, I still had full servo control. The main reason I like the BEC Pro or a built in ESC BEC(Jive), is it's the lightest way to power the flight pack, and it seems I'm always looking for ways to decrease overall weight. Always worked great, never had a problem.

How come you haven't put a stretch boom and longer blades on yet? The extra lift is tremendous and it adds very little weight!

Interesting you say that. I just spoke to someone today about buying the Align extended tail boom and 800mm blades. Should be coming in about 1 week. Cant wait to stretch to a 800!
