+1 for building new. I hate redoing anything. I slug through it doing preventative maintenance and I will fix a damaged heli but I don't enjoy it nearly as much as building or even rebuilding a used one I purchased.

Arggghhhh!!! I'm finally assembled and ready to fly and now we're working 6 days a week and the one day off I spend with the girlfriend being a bump on a log!

Man, I miss the eighties.

Don't you wish sometimes they come with a radio controller like our heli's?

Get that bird in the air.

I was just informed.this morning that the supervisor is going to try and get tue office to approve four 10 hour days, an 8 hour day and a 6 hour day for our six day work schedule. I might as well box all my helis and store them for the nect two months.

Man, I miss the eighties.

I don't mind buying and fixing a crashed heli, but I hate fixing a heli after I crash it!

I still have to put my gasser back together. It's not due to lack of initiative, but more of a reminder to myself.

I had a battery lead failure just as I was getting ready to land and had those monster 710 blades come within feet of hitting me. I'm going to fix it and fly it again, but for the time being I'm using it to remind myself how dangerous this hobby can be. I still shake when I fly my 600!

It just scares the living hell out of me now when I see guys fly so close to, or toward themselves. REMEMBER GUYS, SH!T CAN FAIL!!!

Be careful guys!
Bob

If it ain't broke, go fly some more!

I love working on helis
It's a tinkerers dream crashed or not it's all good.
I love rolling up my sleeves and tearing apart a good crash
I fix all of my friend’s crashes too.

I sit in my shop watch some old bonaza or gunsmoke on my dvr and tinker for hours.I only crash maybe once a year so I tear mine down just for maintenance

Perhaps we need a bargan basement wrecked heli section.it seems there are as many people who hate repairs as there are people who want to scoop them up.
