Fusuno Canopies
Anybody who has ordered from Fusuno:

How long did your order take to arrive from the time you placed it?
No custom stuff, just normal schemes.

Order most all Fusano canopies from HeliDirect and have in two to three days. They carry almost all of the models.

The first time, it was at my door in 2 weeks....

The second time, they seem to have forgotten about my order after a month and a half and then the following month (after nasty emails from me) they finally showed up.

Nice canopys, crap for shipping time.

A good friend ordered from them direct and he never received the canopy. It's been 6 mos. He's contacted them and they basically said "we shipped it, it's your prob now."

Canomod gets my business from now on...

Cool, yeah I ordered on 12/24. Took a couple weeks to process, sure it was cause x-mas and all. Just wondering cause I thought the website said like 5-7 days, but the email I got said like 15-20 business days for shipping. Man I hate my stock fusion canopy, cant wait to get the new ones. My Logo is waiting also.

Thanks for the replies guys.

Sounds like ordering from them is very "hit and miss"...almost like they batch run models; if you happen to order the ones they are doing you get it quick, if you order something not being done you wait.

I do know that i have emailed them 3 times with information requests in regards to certain canopies, all of which i would have placed orders for.....but sadly never got a responce...shame because they seem to do good work for the price.

I have ordered from them, twice (a total of four canopies).

All four canopies were beautiful!

This one had custom lettering:

It took 2-4 weeks, as others have mentioned above, from the date of order to when the canopies were received.

beautiful canopies
Beautiful Canopies.. I waited 5 weeks for mine.. However, I will never use them again.. They wont respond to emails, didnt include tracking number, etc..

IMHO, if you want Funoso canopies, order from helidirect or go with a different canopy painter.

Yeah couldn't get a response from them either via email. I wanted all 4 the same color scheme for 2 different models but they didn't offer them that way on their website. I just ended up picking 2 that were close and listed on their site. Would of been cool to have my Logo and Fusion matching, but they look good the way I went anyways.Mark

They've lost my business with the general disorganization of me paying them money and wondering if and when I'll ever get my canopy order.

New Canomod just arrived. Worth the extra $20.

Check back in a few months and tell us how many cracks the Canomod canopy has. Fusuno is WAY better in this regard. I've never seen a Canomod canopy that wasn't a crack-fest.

The email to use is Sales@fusuno.com . You can send the email attention to Hachi. In mutliple order over the past year, I've never failed to get a reply from them in 48 hours or less. I've also never failed to receive first an order confirmation and then a shipping confirmation. Standard shipping is air mail for $15 with each additional canopy costing $5. If the total order exceeds $150, then the shipping is free and they use DHL with tracking. You can always request DHL for $30-35 total shipping for the first piece.

And no, I don't rep for them. They aren't perfect, but the quality per dollar spent is about as high as I've seen anywhere.

I agree with you about the cracks, I know how it goes with my Fury 55 canopy.... but, they just about lost my last order for two canopies, even dealing with Hachi directly. It should NEVER take 3 months and many of the local US vendors didn't have what I was looking for.

Anyway, if it wasn't for the wait on both customer service and shipping, I'd be happy to get Fusuno canopies more often. From the posts above, I'm not the only one.

I can vouch for this claim.
With the Fusuno canopy, you can literally roll it up in a tight ball and the paint or clear WILL NOT crack.

Watch this-- I've abused mine in a similar fashion to show a friend, and crashed it 3 times.. And it still looks great.

Ordered 2 canopies from them Dec 12, and they arrived Jan 4.

And, yes they do crack
This one cracked during shipping - I guess the box got a little banged around. A nice little "rainbow". But, it passes the 10' test with no problems (looks great 10' away)

I sent an email, and they offered a 50% refund instead of sending it back.
Unfortunately, the refund never came through

BTW - I smudged the last name out for posting - it is fine in real-life.

mine came with a crack too. They offered 50% discount with the new order. I got a new one with a bigger crack.
The box is like paper box. I told her about it, but the same box was used.

I have a Canomod canopy on a Raptor 90.
I don't know how old it is - but it is pretty old. It came with a R-90SE airframe I bought.
Lots of scratches in the clear coat, but no cracks.
I can post pics if you like.

I don't like it for other reasons.
a) It is heavy - much heavier than the Fusuno.
b) It is not a Raptor canopy. If this was originally old as a Raptor canopy, someone was wrong. It fits okay on the Raptor, but it doesn't look like a Raptor canopy.
