Ill send you my ar8000dsmx and one satelite so you can buy the dx8 TX only
That is very nice of you Evan but you might need it for your bird. I am content with my setup. The Helicommand is its own receiver and has 2 satellites on it. As far as my AR7010 on the gimbal, that is more than enough to get the job done.

Again, thank you for the offer.

How is your bird coming along?

Thanks TECO.
I am still waiting on the Reactor X2 regulator and the DX7s transmitter. I then have to program the HeliCommand HC3-SX for complete stabilization and program Tx settings.

You're coming along nice. I'm also doing an 800 stretch, but I'm making some of my own parts. The gear, battery mounts, the boom supports, and some other things.

I had to replace the 105mm tail blades with 115mm. With the new 800mm mains, the 105mm will be insufficient to hold the tail. When there is one action, there must be a reaction.

Should have by Thursday/Fri.

Those are Lord Dampeners. They came with the 2XPT front mount tube system kit.

Really? and how do you know?

You know the motor you are removing is rated about 1200watt more than the Scorpion in your hand (2650 Watts).

2650w is sufficient power to fly 17lbs, beware of hot days.

Also, going from 510kv to 330kv with stock gears? I guess ~1300rpm is all you'll see.

good luck

Because I am holding it in my hand.

That is why I made the switch. You realize this is for AP and not 3D?

I am running a Kontronik esc.

I changed the pinion to give me lower RPM.
