Hey guys, I got a deal on a raptor 30, not V2, I forgot to set my needle on the os32 and I did a pitch pop, and the bird bogged and stalled and fell from the sky.... so it wasn’t bad, I got I slight bend to the main shaft.(not Noticeable, and it hit canopy and broke lower clip, and broke the 2 canopy nuts off, they broke right off the frame....I flew it after, wasn’t bad.....BUT, I would like to get a new frame, BUT what I don’t understand is, everywhere you look they have different model numbers, so I don’t know which ones to by, CAN SOME ONE HELP>>> I would like to get it from http://www.helikraft.com/Thunder+Ti...RCT0185%29.html if I can, they have allot of parts, and the cost is 30% to 50% off....thanks guys.

If you have the R30V1 you need a PV0032 frame. If you use the Frame in the link(V2) you'll need a larger fuel tank and different starter shaft bearings.

There are a few people here that have R30V1 frames. You can posted it in the Thunder Tiger Nitro Forum. Just make sure you click on the SELL box.

That's a common place to break.
5 minute epoxy works if you still have the old pieces. I use glue called "rapid fix" it's about 30 bucks but holds better and the 2 bottles will last a LONG time.
http://www.rapid-fix.com/Rapid-Fix.com/HOME.html
One guy at our field made something with allthread going all the way across. It works very well as long as he doesn't crash and hurt the gyro.
I glued mine with rapid fix several times last summer. The only times they came loose again was in more crashes.

i pulled the motor today
i pulled the motor today to do a good carb clean, i just cant find the settings for the screw inside the servo arm, but the jet is 1 1/2 turns out, and the noise i here is the one way bearing.....i think, it looks like its slipping when i put the starter to it, does it need oil, ar replacment, it looks fun to get out..BUT i put her back in the raptor, and its still hard to start,(oh yeah its a 32 SX) and when i get it running, it runs till the glow goes out then it dies, ( i put a new glow plug in) and thats what it did in the video, it just died, the first was ok, but second time, did in my frame and main shaft and canopy bottom clip......but i more concerned with the motor right now.....it feels like it has excelent compression, ( i know i got it used, and i probably got someone else is problems......thanks for any help..

im talking about the one way bearing in the clutch, is that replacable or is that part of the clutch????

You can replace that bearing with a T-Rex 450 OWB.

I'm not sure about ID. on the V1 clutch shoe. If it's 10mm. then your good. The 450 OWB is 10mm.OD.xH12mm.
You can place the shoe on a piece of wood with a hole in it and tap the bearing out with a rod. Install it with a vice or drill press using a socket of the appropriate size to press it in.

if you are backing it out to where you can see the O-ring, you probably set the very end of the mixture screw flush with the carb barrel, which is wrong. You need to set the shoulder where the screw gets wide (about half way along the screw) flush with the carb barrel.

Run the screw in until you can see that shoulder, then back it out until that shoulder is positioned as stated in the manual.
