anyone wanna make a $100???
hey guys i have a trex 500 flybarless that i have been fighting with. it was a stock fb heli then i decided to go flybarred. anyway i got the rjx flbarless head on and i wanted to change the stock screws to the rc screwz kit but while i was trying to get the stock screws out i stripped some of them. anyway my point is i will pay someone 100 bucks to get all the stripped screws out without damaging the carbon fiber frames and replace them with the rc screwz kit, set up the 3gx and program my futaba 7c to it pretty mucg get my heli flying. it is all built it just needs a little work (the stripped screws, 3gx, organized wiring. etc.) i will pay for shipping to you and back to me plus a 100 bucks just for finishing the heli. and i will pay you before you get the heli so you dont have to worry about getting burnt. let me know i youre interested

stripped screw
I'll tell you how I deal with stripped screws without damaging the body. I take my dremel tool with the flat round cutter tool and very carefully cut a straight narrow slit from one side to the other of the screw. make sure not to go all the way threw to the frame, but very close. Then just take a flat head screw driver and remove the screw. It works every time.. good luck if you decide to do it..

dremel tool
This is what I like about the Run Ryder forums, we all can get advice for free. There a many with much experiance that are always ready to help each other including myself. My buddy calls this pay it forward when you help another without costing any money. This hobby is very expensive alone.
Thanks to all the great memebers for thier support.
Thanks

He will charge more than $100, but the clown will go through the entire heli and make changes.... to give you the best tail-in, 1 foot high hover money can buy.

Once WC works on your heli, you'll never forget his name... ever.

Thats not funny.

To the op, Sooner or later you have to learn how to build and repair. You may as well start now.

Your post makes no sense. Why are you looking for 'outside help'?..... is there another issue as to why you won't have your local hobby shop do the job?

Once fixed go buy a decent set of hex drivers i specifically recommend the Mip Thorpe hex drivers, a little more expensive but a lifetime of confidence.

You might still be able to get them out with an align hex wrench since I think they are a little oversized. I had a couple that I stripped with another brand hex driver but the align still fit well and was able to back them out.

The Dremel is a great idea. Here is another one that I used. Buy some JB Weld, put a little dab in the screw, and place your drive in the whole. Let it sit overnight and turn in the morning. This works good for a screw or two.

The dremel and epoxy suggestions will both work for you. Probably the best thing you could do with the $100 is buy Rays DVD series on Set-up. That will get you started, because if your serious about flying you might as well learn to build now. Good Luck.

Try and do it yourself, you have a lot of good advice here. A pair of frames are $64.00 or $80.00, depending if you have a Pro or not.

It if was thread lock heavy, you should heat up the screw with an solder iron to break down the thread lock and then back out the screw.
