CC HV85 or JIVE 80HV
Doing a 50-size 3-blade scale build with a Neu 550kV motor and have a dilemma. Do I use my NIP CC HV85 (had forever) oro do I sell it and buy the Kontronic. How much of a difference will the governor make on a scale build and will I be able to tell much of a difference? I probably have the first iteration of the CC HV85, but I imagine I can upgrade the software as I have the USB Castlelink. Thank you.

I would give the CC HV85 a try. There hasn't been any recalls on that controller that I'm aware of. Check me on this but I think the recall was only for the ICE series. As for the governor the CC will work just fine for a scale application. Flying both controllers I only ever notice the difference with hard collective movements. There the Jive out performs the CC hands down. Give the CC a shot. What's the worse that could happen. (Just kidding)

I think the name says it all: "NoLuckChuck", I know there have not been any cases with problems with the CC 85, But do you want to be the first?. I have both and I'm using both, No issues with either at this time.
