FUTABA 10CGH
I've read a lot of discussion about the SUPER 8, 12 FGH and 12 Z but hardly read anything about the FUTABA 10CGH. Can someone share their experience regardless positive or negative. I look forward hearing from you guys, thanks.

It is a very good radio, very confortable in most hands.
A bit outdated in regards to all the swash mixing that the new radios have.

BUT

If you fly FBL, you don't need the fancy mixing as the FBL units take care of that.

IMO, is a keeper.

I love my 10C. I went from a 9C PCM to the 10C and the programming is the same. The 10C programming is not updateable. So that keeps you flying when the guys update their radios with the latest patch and it malfunctions. I have never seen the need to update a radio that is currently working.

If you are using the CGY-750, you need the updates so you can control all 3 gyro gains from the TX. Other updates continue to inhance the software in the radio. Although many don't use all of the functions that are udated, they are useful. To date, I do not know of any issues with TX updates that have been sent out.
Nothing wrong with the 10C at all, but if someone is in the market for a new radio or wants to upgrade, there are other choices available. Don't forget now, the 8FGS and older (although only a couple years older) 8FG is now a 14 channel radio with software updates.

I have flown with the 10C for the last 3.5 years. It works perfectly fine with the CGY750, the only option you do not have is to change the Ali/Elv gains from the transmitter. You just do it on the CGY750. I have both the 8FG and 10C and have owned almost all of the Futaba heli radios in the last 11 years. Just cannot wait for my 18MZ to get here.

If you have questions about setting up the CGY750 and 10C feel free to contact me.

Thanks,
Chris

Looks and feels 10X better than 8FG, I have both, if you are used to the 9 you'll be better off with the 10.
The 8 does more for less money but will you need all the new features of the 8?

I love my 10C, programming is a breeze and it feels good in my hands. I also have an old 9C that I put a Spectrum module in to fly the little stuff with but still like the feel of the 10C better. If you skip me I can't play!

I appreciate all the feedback that you guys have shared. I think with my flying style, the 12's will be a bit too much. I have the opportunity to hold the super 8 and I don't feel comfortable with size and weight. I think I will consider the 10CGH
as replacement for my current radio. Happy holidays to everyone :-) .
