Protos 500, which spindle spacer?
I have the flybarred head on, which spindle length and spacer thickness do I use? ATM I have the short spindle in and the thin spacers, not flown it yet, it just seems to have more movement in the head than im used to, normal?

As long as you use the spacers that come with the spindle you are fine.

I ran the FBL spindle (and spacers) on the FB head for a long time with no issues.

When you use the FBL spacers and spindle the main grip ends line up with each other on the head block, and there is no back and forth slop in the grips.

When you use the FB spacers and spindle the ends of the grips do not line upwith each other and there is no slop in the head.

When I say the 'ends of the main grips' I mean the part that has that rocker on it that the two ball links mount on. Or in the FBL set up where the long ball link goes. I do not mean the side with that the blade goes into.

I do beleive that the FBL spindle is longer, therefore needing wider spacers... But it has been a long time since I owned a Protos.
