Simple.....
Wallet suffered a meltdown.

I plan to run 30% at the moment since i have a case left.
I added in the 0.1mm shim instead of the 0.2mm one. Might have to swap it out since I'm in the tropics and weather gets pretty hot here.

Anybody else share the same sentiments?

Two prices are floating around out there. The lower one often refers to the NON "R" version.

The price of 410 in Australia is for the R version, same as 610 is the R version and pipe combo.
Considering our dollar is at parity with the US its a big difference and the poor guys in the UK are just getting killed on the price.

I too will be running 2 shins and 30% in mine, our post system is delivering all weekend so hopefully I should get it soon

The thieving bar stewards who are in power in the UK add import duty and then 20% VAT on top of that for imported goods. That's why us poor sods who live in the UK get hit so badly on price

You will probably be changing that.
For 30% the engine likes two .008 shims.

I like starting on the rich side but 2.5 sounds like a lot.
Our mid range ended up at 5/8 and our main is at about 1.25

The power boost and the hatori both bolt to the engine like YS motors. I wonder why OS have gone this way now?

The limitations and/or applications for the bps will be the same as those for the usual sensor. If the device in mind will work with the traditional hall effect Futaba sensor, then it will work with the bps.

Got it Ben.
I'm just a lil worried with pick-up sensitivity with the specific sensor used, and whether the firmware is calibrated sufficiently.
Will give it a try anyway.

Hey - Does the new 1.05 have a slot in the crank for a woodruff key? The .91HZ did not and it took a little machine time to cut a slot.

I've gotten addicted to my Marylin Machine fans for my X-Cells and I'm not going back to brass collets.... but the MM fan needs a key-way.

Doesn't look like it according to the various pictures of it out there.

That's one thing I like about the Align fan hub, it's a simple interference fit over the crankshaft itself and the bottom has slots and pinch bolts to hold it on there even firmer. The runout is basically perfect once the prop nut is seated and everything is tightened down.

You're screwed if you want to ever take it off, tho. I havn't tried it on mine yet, but I forsee a lot of work with the propane torch etc...

But it's heaven compared to the tapered collar thingy like in the days of old....

There is a fan puller available to take the Align fans off the motors.
Uncle Jane there is a fan puller from G Force that will pull the Align fans right off the crank no fuss. It a small metal plate about an inch thick that bolts to the end of the fan hub over the end where the clutch bolts go and there is a long bolt that goes down in through the threaded center of it and pushes against the end of the crank while effectively pulling the fan upwards sliding it up and off the crank. Works for T600 and T700 if I remember right. I got it last summer while at IRCHA from one of the hobby vendors. If you have machining skills you could make one easily.
