There is a small notch on the side of it.
Blow throught it and you will know which way is correct (it's hard to do) plus there is usually a small notch on the side of it but I can't remember which way so don't want to mislead you. Should be in the manual of the motor.

Also you may not have the throttle opened up enough for it to fire up. Look at the notches on the carb where the throttle arm comes out of it it's clearly marked for open close and the midrange of the carburators throw.

Oh No Someone Please Stop Me Before I Go Broke With This Heli Thing!!

I flew YS for years before going electric, sometimes the first start after a couple days or week sit can be a little slow, but after the regulator is primed, and the old thick oil is cleaned out, it should start right up after the first start of the day.

Positive about the carburetor notches and that's not it the throttle trim I watch move from fully close to half open and I even tried moving the throttle stick and no fuel mist come out the muffle

If the engine is not runing, the regulator keeps the fuel line shut off.
That's why you can't see fuel from the carburator.
If you crank the engine with the starter, you will see the fuel runing, through the small, transparent, line to the regulator.
This, shut of, hapens because if you fly and shut the engine off, because there is pressure in the tank, the engine doesn't flïowed with fuel.
