I have been looking for a decent quality, reasonably priced UH-1D or -H model fuse for a long time, and recently discovered the Mini Titan fuse while at an indoor fly in the Chicago area. It was nicely detailed and flew in a very stable, scale manner.

I've just ordered the fuse kit from Tower and would appreciate some recommendations for which of the mechanics would be best for me. I'm pretty firm on the metal head, but don't know if it would be better to have the molded plastic frame or carbon. I have no need for 3D capability for this aircraft.

The selections seem to be either the SE model or V2. And with each, to go with the TT motor and ESC package, or would I be significantly better off to get different ones.

Also, I've read that their wooden blades have a lot more drag, requiring higher current, reducing run time and increasing heating issues.

Thanks very much for your help!

I don't think the V2 will work in that Fuse.

I have a v1 and Se each with thousands of flights.

for your purposes the molded frame is fine, they are almost indestructable and have almost 0 flex, besides,as said I'm not sure if the V2 frame works with those fuses.

I have had no issues with the stock motor and esc combo's and as a matter of fact i think the soft start on the ace esc is the best in the biz.

The stock wooden blades with the fancy /useless holes/film on them suck a$$ big time.Yes, they create a ton of drag and EAT amps while heating up the motor and esc.If you want woodies, align 325's are superior and about 12 bucks.A nice set of CF blades really wakes the heli up with the metal head, but all out performance is not what scale is about..

also, while I was learning my hover orientations, I put an 11T pinion on the stock motor.plenty of performance for sport flying and long runtimes with cool temps.I could get 8-9 min or more out of a 2200mah batt
