As always, the forum police are out in force.....So, I probably should not try to land my Trex 550 on my son's head? ( I was hoping to send the results to Tosh.0)

Happy to be a forum police. When it comes to safety of the public or hundreds of helpless bystanders, you bet I am going to say something. Our hobby is already being watched, and any accident will threaten it.

Folks who do dangerous stunts like this and then put it on the internet get seen by folks who make LAWS! Ever heard of those things? They are basically rules for people too stupid to make intelligent decisions on their own. It's a way for smart people to stop morons from endangering the public with/without their knowledge.

I'd like AMA to give him a knock at the door along with a few FAA officials and a cop or two. Charge him with reckless public endangerment and maybe toss in child endangerment for the couple of kids that walked by within 4 feet of blades going over 200mph.

People like this screw it up for ALL OF US!! These people will continue this behavior until they are stopped. It's OUR responsibility from the way I see it. I feel it my public DUTY to make a call or two in relation to this. I know I just speak for myself but .... damn man, that is wrong on every level on the scale.

Just my $.02 /shrug

I also agree. The local r/c club needs to make a visit and well educate the guy. Otherwise, we are just waiting for a fatal accident to happen.

Pssst ... pass the word...he lives in CANADA. Nothing the FAA can do to him, nothing the AMA can do to him.

Even in the US, the AMA cannot stop him, they are not an enforcement organization as previously noted. Under AMA guidelines, this fellow is operating way outside the Safety Code, so if the AMA did somehow have "jurisdiction" they would simply deny any liability claims against him.

Now, for the Canadians, maybe the MAAC, but I doubt they have any enforcement capability, either. The Canadian equivalent of the FAA most likely can't touch him, either.

This fellow simply gives morons a bad rap. But hey, on the positive side, there are other posts by this same fellow, he's flying a Hughes 500 all over the crowd, too, but if you pay attention, he has his helis lined up in front of his house with little orange safety markers around them, I presume to keep bystanders from getting too close to the ones just sitting there on the ground. God forbid they accidentally damage his fleet!

Yeah,that guy's tiny 450 did that.

BTW guy's,
Seen some comment's about the people watching being stupid for standing around..These people have no ideal what that heli can do so IMO,there not stupid or anything..Like heli-cuzz said, them people are clueless and have no ideal what can happen..All they see is a awesome heli flying around,no ideal that it can kill one of them, one of the kid's or worse, that poor baby in the stroller next to the street .The only stupid one here is the pilot and person recording. Can't say all them people should know a 2000+ RPM spinning blade can kill them, they don't know that...

I see your point but saying something about the president is a right(as long as it does not threaten),freedom of speech is something people have fought and DIED for

being an idiot and putting people in danger for no reason than self glorification is not a right but illegal.... i am 99% sure most jurisdictions have some type of "risking a catastrophy" law or something similar

I can't believe he did it with kids around and people pushing a stroller. The people watching probably didn't think anything of it since its electric. I bet if it were nitro it would be different. But yes totally irresponsible.

it's a western music festival. People parking and walking down to the stage or event . Agree 100% it's very imprudent. Against MAAC safety code for sure.

There is just no cure for stupid. USA, Canada, or even Russia, I don't give a tail rotor where they are from there is no excuse for this kind of stunt. This is what gives all of the pilots who fly with a brain a bad name.
I am willing to bet a set of 810mm rotor blades that he is not too welcome at any flying field either. This kind of blatent disregard for safety has no place at any flying field.
