I have a set unused Thunder Tiger(600mm)carbon main rotor blades that came with a Raptor 50 kit that I purchased several (6) years ago. I have been reluctant to use these blades because I heard rumors that there were some safety issues with older Thunder Tiger carbon blades. I need some new blades on my heli and these would come in handy but I refuse to use them if they are dangerous. Does anyone have any information about these blades? Are these rumors unfounded?
I would appreciate any info. Thanks

I think the only problem was going with larger tail rotor blades they would hit because the TTR3827 blades were 603mm. A lot of people were looking for that blade. But, Thunder Tiger had changed to a different blade manufacture. I'm happy to say, I still have one set left.

Thank you very much. Since I am using the stock tail rotor blades I dont't think that they will hit the main blades. In that case, I will start using the TT blades. Thanks again.

You'll be fine with the stock 93mm. tail blades.

If your "safety issue" rumor was based on the length of the blades - then just measure from the blade bolt to the tip of the tail rotor blade. If there is a gap, then there is no issues with the main blade hitting the TR blade.
Your 600mm blades are 600mm from the blade bolt hole to the tip.

I've never heard any rumors - but if your "rumor" was based around something else, well...

Those TT black and white blades were awesome. Decently acrobatic and autoed great. I wish they still sold them.
