Hi guys,
I'm building my E7, I just finished the electronic parts, motor, esc,
I haven't install main & tail rotor,
pinion & main gear I just make it fit mesh as my understanding, helical gear not need any space between pinion & the main gear.
not sure is my belt over tight, I can push it down like 2mm in with my finger not hard.
I'm using 700-52, 120+HV,
I have 2 log without head at 55% & 60% under mode 4 gov.

are these vibra too much?
any good suggest to set the belt's tension?
thanks for help

That does not look like bad vibes to me.

Some noise is always there, especially new helis, but you have no peaks, no distinct issues.

The VBar log is great for troubleshooting when there is a problem, but I see a lot of guys get crippled by it trying to solve problems that don't exists or don't matter (analysis paralysis).

If your heli doesn't have any problems and flies smooth, don't even look at the vibration log.

On all of my VBar Synergy helis (N5c/E6/E7) I've never once looked at the log.

Edit: Or whatever MrMel says, he's "the man"

There actually should be some backlash.

Agreed!

A little backlash will let it run smooth and your motor/esc will thank you for it as they won't have to work as hard. I ran mine tight the first few flights (thinking the same thing, helical gears don't need backlash) and everything was hot, put a little backlash in there and suddenly everything ran cool.
