After flying the Scorpion 4525-520 since building the machine, I just installed a Xera 4530-500 motor in my E7! Based on past experience with this motor I can tell you it will have plenty of power! Should make a nice combination with the Jeti Spin 125 ESC

Flight report coming soon

What batteries are you using. I looked at that motor and was told that it destroys cheap batteries. I was told that you have to use 65c batts with it.

I'm going to be using Thunder Power 6s 4400mAh 65c batteries with this setup.

4cyclic is mostly using Hyperion 35C 4500 12S packs. He just bought a few TP 65C 4500 12s and I think he will also be trying Gens Ace 25C.

Ok I would like the report on the gen aces, that is what I mostly have now. If it fares out I might give this motor a try.

Thanks for the info!

I don't think the Gens Ace 25c 4000 are going to be a problem, these are way underrated and are closer to 45c. My older Hyp 12s 4500 35c are doing still fine with that motor. Of course the xera has almost unlimited power, peak 10,000w, so if you use the power you'll drain packs quick.

Have just trained my new TP65 5000's, so soon I'll open up the tap.

Can't wait.

Update
I have probably close to 100 flights on this motor now and I could not be happier!

My packs are still rock hard and show no signs of puffing what so ever. I'm currently flying it with a Jive 120HV

Skylipo 4400 40c 12s
I'm using a set of these on my Logo 600 and they seem to work great. I just got my E7 in the air yesterday and tried them in it with great success we'll just have to see how they hold up. They have 40 flights on them now and still running stong with great balanced cells.
