Hey guys im very new to electric so kinda have zero experience. Ive been all nitro. Anyway i want to start flying the new ElyQ V50E for my team. I need to know a good setup as far as esc and motor. I dont have a ton of money so just a descent setup and a good setup if you could list for me. Im thinking just 10s due to the batterys are cheaper. THANX GUYS

What gearing options does the kit come with (or support as an upgrade)?

Start from there to figure out your pinion vs motor KV vs target headspeed and then work your way back starting with motors.

12S is worth looking at, that's what I fly on my E6, awesome power, stays cool, long flight times.

If its a fit based on the above, take a look at the Hacker Turnado motors, they are reliable, smooth, and very powerful (under $200). I like the Hacker over the Scorpion. For what you'll save on the motor, you could go 12S if you wanted.

It would also help to know your targeted head speed...the gravy of all set ups.

Depends on how hot you want it ... you can do hard 3D at 1850 on an electric (instant torque).

I run 2300 because I like it hot.

Ultimately it's just a personal preference.

around 2300 is what i was thinking i want it scorching! So you have no idea. Was thinking a cc 80HV with a castle motor and 5s 4000 or 5000. what else as far as esc are there align make anything that would be cheaper im sure.
