After a lapse of some 25 years, I have returned to the hobby with a JR GSR260Z Sports. Had Schluter Heliboy and Helibaby w/ Futaba 4ch TX in previous time.
Now it is a Futaba 10CGH w/ GY701, BLS251 Tail, S9252 Throttle, and BLS255's, R6014HS Rx. Using Stator Gator for Governor input.
Break in using 25:1 mineral oil now runnimng 32:1 on Amsoil Synthetic.
Head Speed approx 1520. Flight time exceeds 20 minutes per tank.
Construction of the kit was straight forward and only slightly complicated with 2 manuals required. For any future builders ensure you acquire the JR55076 Stopper to aid in addmebly of the cooling fan to the motor (Section 3-8). Take note of the main gear backlash adjustment (Section 3-2). Last tip is not install the rear body until the machine has been flown and the tail linkage is fully adjusted. The tail assy must removed /re-installed to install the rear body.
The kit is complete such that I did not have to source any mechanical parts, muffler, etc, only required the servos, receiver, gyro and rx battery.

Interesting story!
The part that intrigues me the most is that I've been to CC several times and I'm wondering if I met you there? Sorry don't recognize your screen name...

Enjoy the heli, and with the temps dropping especially up north you might want to make one of these

Raja,
Just to clarify, the lapse of 25 years is probably why we have not met yet. Only came back in September.
I do have a flight mitt, and instead of electric heater, I have some HOT Shots for when the really cold weather sets in. Currently, my hands seem to generate enough heat to fog up the transparent cover.
Keep well

The fog
Yes you're right the hands cause fog inside the TX mitt, and I did take notice no fog no more with the heater its like a built in defroster

You should definately hook up with Jeffrey in Canada. He's also got one of those JR helis and can certainly help you with it. Great guy fun to be with
