"Just copy and paste below from the previous poster and up your count".
some of you are very smart, yet cannot follow a simple request!

Red asked to simply copy the previous post poll count, add to it , thats it add your note and thats it!

Flown Grounded: 0
Flown Stock: 0

Flown Grounded: 0
Flown Stock: 6

Flown Grounded: 2
Flown Stock: 15

Flown Grounded: 4
Flown Stock: 15.

do you see the transition here boys! dont take away from the poll, just add to it! add your note below the poll count!

after RaptorRob

Flown Grounded: 4
Flown Stock: 72

Please please just copy the above in to your post and change the respective number (above # + your # = new #)

I am already seeing the pattern here, though.

This is a useful stuff. For the most part, people with static issues start posting about the problems and grounding. Before you realize, you think that everyone (based on few postings) is doing that as those who fly stock will remain silent.

huh? how does that add up

It's easy to find an excuse to do wrong. Hard is not to find an excuse to do right.

I just spoke with Mike at Nankin. He says grounding is recommended on 6hv and mandatory/required on 7hv.

Cost of grounding cable 0.50 cent

Standing next to the guy saying "i never had issues with static" and next second he smashes it to the ground: priceless, or, no, not really. But it has happened way too often.

Its due to weather, belt tension, if you sprayed the belt and so forth, i help a lot of people with static symtoms that do not know its static even.

But its like those that think futaba is bulletproof, nope, its all about where it enters, if it enters into the antenna your screwed on futaba also.

So for your poll, grounded: 50+ belt helis.

Nothing like watching a heli in the summer night where you can see the sparks.

Logo 500/600/SE is mandatory, they come with a grounding kit included.

MrMel

This is not a debate or efficacy of grounding vs not. It is just a poll with accurate count of personal belted helis in possession. If not sure, please go back and read the very first sentence on my opening post.

So, you own and grounded all 50 of your helis?

Is it a possibility to just get a count of each member's belted helis?

Owned, not all 50 at a time.

Totally misunderstood you then, so the question is how many TT vs Belt? Or how many belt helis do you own and how many of those are grounded?

I currently own 6 belted helis, all grounded.

Stock = 2

Note: NO CF frames and on 72.

Unless poll is for CF only and or boom.

Seems heli specific and or materials used.

Absolutely. But, again, I just wanted to get a head count on anything belted ground vs stock (ungrounded).

BladeStrike

No problem what so ever. However, I really appreciate the length you've gone to explain the situation.
