I am coverting a pc power supply for my icharger...
i have 2 sets of yellow wires.... one states the solid yellow is a +12v1=14amps(there are eight of those) and one is a yellow/black wire that states +12v2=15amps(there are only 2 of thoses wires) should i use the 14 amp ones so i can safely pull the amps through them or???
What else could i hook the red wires to create the 5volt load??

I also have one gray wire that states(PG)???? powerground??? what do i do with that??

PG = Power Good.

Its a signal that tells the mother board the power supply output is stable and it can start booting.

What are you worried about, pulling 15AMP through 2 wires vers 14AMPS through 8 wires?

Take your pick.
You are not going to hurt the 2 wires pulling 15AMPS.
And you may never see the difference between 14 and 15AMPS.

Well I would think that if the PS is working and you are happy with how it works you can cut away all extra wires, insulate the end and go flying.
