What is everyone running on the tail setup, belt drive or geared and why? I am planning on ordering an N5c in the near future.

Thanks,
Rick

Belt drive is all that is available at the moment. After flying the heli, I didn't even notice it was a belt tho. It performs flawlessly! Love the way it is set up and I will not be changing it out if a TT is released. Belt is perfect for this heli!!

The only person running a torque tube on the N5c is Matt Botos and it's a prototype.

N5c
You can't go wrong either way. Like Steve said, When properly set up you would never know it's a Belt..

The belt drive system used on the N5 and N5C is Awesome!!

It has completely changed my views on belt drive systems, the drive is very positive and direct and runs incredibly smooth. As the teeth setup on the belt are very heavy duty i have never had a belt slip, and the material of the belt does not require constant re-tensioning.

Belt system on N5 works so well....makes ya wonder about a N9Rev1, belt or direct drive

I have to agree with the others, Synergy belt system works so great you will not even notice it's a belt + you will be able to land in tall grass not have to worry about breaking any TT gears.
