Can anyone help??

I have been offered a Whirlbird 505 new in a box(untouched), but I am struggling to find out what would be a fair offer to both parties. As I said it is in good to excellent condition....what would be the market rate as I am assuming this is a fairly rare item??. Any help would be appreciated. Many Thanks.

Terry

I bought a new in box one six yrs ago and paid 400.00 but I bought it to remember my first heli and would have even paid more ... it just depends on who is buying it ... you might get lucky and get a lot ... but most will only want to pay around 250 to 300 for something like this .
good luck on your purchase .

Even more rare to actually see one flying,

I paid less than half the amount mentioned above, but it needed a fair amount of TLC to get it back into a showable condition.

My 505 is still not flying, but that has a lot to do with the pilot and setup of the heli.
