I'm building my first 600 and I'm wondering about the ground wire that runs from the boom to the motor mount.

I've already mounted the tail ground wire but am left with two wires with a funny looking barbs on one end. Do you somehow connect these two together to run from the boom to the motor mount?

The extra wire is for tieing into the esc ground or something like that. I just run one wire from my boom to the motor mount. Be sure to check for continuity. It works fine like that. The one thing I will tell you is to make sure that the screw in the boom doesn't hit the belt where it turns in the boom. I and someone else here made that mistake and I scored the belt.

But what are those funny looking brass barbs on the end of the two wires?

Just ground the boom to the tail case in the rear and boom to the motor mount in the front.

The funny looking esc ground wire is not needed.
