So I was dead set on the Outrage N2 until this past week. I had a couple of questions about the heli and also some products that were out of stock on there website. I sent sales an email on 11/7 and still have heard nothing from them. I also posted on here to try and get in touch with someone from the company and got no response. So now I am stumped and do not know if I should stay with the N2 or go with the 600le. This is going to be a heli I keep around for a while so I want to make the right choice. I figured this would be the best place to get some good advice. Thanks Guys

Tried Helidirect yet?

Pick the one you really want even if it means a short wait.

That said...I really like the 600LE.

Either is cool as long as it burns its fuel

Ever considered a 3D+? I've flown an original Velocity and it was nice, but the 3D+ takes the cake as the best 50 class machine I've ever flown! It's like 7.4LBS and is a complete cake-walk to build/repair/maintain.

Mind you, this was an FBL version with a BeastX v3.08 software, all align servos and YS-56/OR 56 pipe. The tail's solid as a rock, it's stable as a 90, and has probably 95% of any 90 I've tried. Just a good heli all the way around.

i will agree the outrages are light and compact but if you think about parts cost and availibility i think the 600LE wins. i have had mine for a year and a half now and its still taking a beating!

Parts availability, yes. Cost, not even close. The Outrage is much cheaper as far as parts go and the 3D+ is about the same as the OR with lower parts count overall.

Add up similar parts costs, Align is usually about $10-$20 more depending on the size. Someone did a big spreadsheet on an average cost or crash parts comparison and the Knight 3D (now 3D+) and Velocity were at like $130-ish. Trex is at $150-$160. I don't want to mis-quote on it, but that's just a quick comparison. That's also black and white numbers, no way for biasing to be involved.

Each crash is different of course, so there's no 100% way to compare them, but on a minor crash or mishap, I've rarely ever gone over $35-$50 on my Knight (blades not included). Trex is at least $50 every time. Most of the cost istelf comes from the TT which I suppose you could switch back to a belt, but I really don't like Align's belt system. Pretty much forces you into a TT to get good performance out of it.

Don't get me wrong, the Trex is still a good platform, but I think the 3D+ is way ahead of it in performance, it truly is a lot cheaper to own/repair + it's tough as nails so it doesn't break or wear out to beging with and it's light as a feather. I'd put one with a hyper 50 up against a Trex with a 55 in it anyday of the week. If it were the other way around I wouldn't even have mentioned (the 3D+) or the Velo which I've flown and wrecked or repaired all three.

My 3D+ is 7.2lbs, and my 600N is 7.4lbs (dry weight) both flybarless, both with Beasts. they both fly great(both setup the way I like) The 3D+ survives crashes much better. Don't know anything about the OR
