Hi guys...I have a pc power supply that is 400 watts and at 12 volts it will put out 15amps....I will be charging 6 cell 2500 packs.....1 to 4 at a time......do u think this would be enough......I don't need a ultra fast charge but decent.....if someone could give some numbers to what amps the charger would put out that would be helpful or point me to a good formula I could us to help me decide

That charger will output about 360WATTS with your PS.

That is about 14AMPS at 25.2V

So 4 - 2500mAh batteries = 10AMPS

At best you can get about 1.4C charge rate.

It should take about 45 minutes to charge the 4 batteries from 20%.

Thanks, TheWoodCrafter

Because the charger has to step up the voltage from 12 to 25V to the batt, you will have quite a loss. If you get a PS that will give 1000W to your charger and 24V, you will charge at 3 times your current PS's capacity, or 30A.
