I'm thinking of going flybarless on my T250 to I like the mcpx setup would it fly similar to that?

3GS? Or perhaps 3GX?

In any event, I had the opportunity to see a couple of Trex 250s with Mircobeasts installed this past summer. Made for a really nice flying little heli.

I had a couple of flights with my 250 running a 3GX - tail was rock solid. cyclic not so much. I'm sure it's my setup. WAY too much gain on cyclic. One tough part is getting to the pots on the top since I have the gyro mounted on the base plate - I think I'll move it to the gyro plate even though that's not quite as solid as the base plate.

Not ready to give it up but I'm not 100% sold on the idea either. I will be keeping a flybar on my other 250 for the forseeable future.

dont flame me but x2 all day long. less parts availability, much more durable and stable. or compromise, trex 250 with microbeast. ive owned both fbl systems and both 250 and x2 and the x2 was better.

Hey
After much research, bigger size and because it was designed as a FBL heli I decided on the Gaui X2

I fly the original 3G on my 250, after I put some silicone in the sensor it flies like a dream.

I got a Align 3G here on RR for $55 with the usb programer and put it on my T250 seems to be ok only I had expo set in the controller and the 3G so I had about 40% set.
How do you put silicone in the sensor?
Thanks

You basically take the sensor apart, there are 3 sensors put silicone in the middle just enought that it wont push out when you put it back together, let it dry and done, it was easy, and it helped a whole lot like a night and day difference.

I would try the beastx on the 250...i have had no experience with the align controllers but have seen and heard many problems with them.

The x2 is a really nice heli! I still have a few complaints about it but it does fly a lot better then the 250. With that being said tho, I am comparing my experience with a FB 250 to a FBL x2...so not really a comparison. The x2 also has a larger rotor disc then the 250 giving it a much larger feel in the air.

They are pretty good fb, fbl with that mod on the 3G it flies better than my fb 500, of course that's my opinion, but it flies real nice.
