I have been out of helis for a while and am working my way back. I have a Blade MSR and have been flying circuits, nose-in hover, etc. to get my abilities back to where they used to be. I was never any more than a sport flyer and I have owned an E-Hawk (in NIMH cells so VERY heavy) a couple Logo 10's, and other helis in that size range.

I would like to get something similar in size to a Logo 10 but I was wondering what's the best bang for the buck out there now? There are so many types I have not heard of before. I would prefer a single pack heli and nothing bigger than Logo 10 size.

Any recommendations? Is the Gaui Hurricane 425 around any more?

Assuming your logo 10 was flybar, you might look at a logo 400se Vbar. I also prefer that size. Also the trex 550 is nice, and one 6s.

Trex 450 is a good outdoor machine, parts available every where. Clone machines can be very cheap. Most are 3S setups.

I think about the hereafter. I go somewhere to get something, then wonder what I'm here after ?

I think the 450 Pro Super Combo is the best bang for your buck.

I'd wait for the Blade 450 flybarless combo ($499 ready to go, including flybarless controller) coming in late Jan.

I did come across infor for that flybarless Blade. Seems like a lot of bang for the buck!

I saw a 450 pro FBL knock off frame on ebay for like 80 shipped.

I love this hobby!

I agree with the Blade 450 FBL recommendation. That looks great, I'll be buying one.
