Anyone still flying the Hirobo GS Gasser. I know this heli isn't sold anymore, but i got a great price on a kit that i couldn't pass up.
I fly gassers. I have Vario, xcell, predator. These all have the Zenoah motors. The Hirobo uses the Tanaka 24cc. Any advice on break-in. I usually break-in the Zenoah on mineral oil, then switch to synthetic. What about needle settings? I know the power is not like the Zenoahs, but i am a sport flyer, so it doesn't matter. Just looking for any tips that will help in the build. Thanks

just run it in as you do the rest of your gassers
as i've not flown an eagle gs i can only assume the tuning won't be far off the bell 47 g2 gasser with the tanaka 24 that i fly
as a base setting
L= 1 1/4
H = 1 1/2
from fully closed

if i remember correctly my low needle is 1 1/4 and the high needle is around 1 3/8 open
you only need a very fine amount of a turn when adjusting the needles

if anything i would say your needles will be a little richer than the 47 as the fuel tanks are above the engine on the 47 and the eagle is inline with the engine
