easiy to show on 450 helis. flying crazy fast smack down fb's are more predictable. i know what they will do when playing low to ground. with fbl's they tend to over shoot or over correct, not much room for error when playing low to the ground. if you dont undetstand use your imagination and image flying smack down super fast with 3500rpm on 450 with ds 95's or the same with a 500 with virtigo motor 3200 rpm n hv servos or a 6 or 7 with crazy headspeed smacking them.

After a crash which one would like to set up all over again?
A flybarless system, definitely. Just bolt on new parts and go.

Funguy,
no offence bud but it seems as though you have very little experience with FBL units and sounds as though you only flew friends poor setups.

like i said the beggining "in my opinion" i put a lot of time and crashes in with all types of set ups. it seems we are not all reading from the start of this thread either. we all have diferent taste in helis, setups and flying styles. i am very very aggressive with my flying so to each their own. i am just voicing my opinion and my findings. BTW my first few helis were fb, all my fleet are now fbl ranging from 450 to 700 and all are electric. i also have top compinenents on all my helis and tried a lot of stuff and crashed a few hundred times to get where i am.

Three vbars, one Microbeast, and one 3G. The 3G is gathering dust, the Microbeast is on my 450 and the three vbars are on my Synergy N9, Trex 700, and one to go on my next heli, probably a Logo 600.

My favorite is vbar hands down.

one more for V-bar
I have tried 3G, 3GX and Sk720’s. but once I tried a V-bar I knew I found what I was looking for. They just fly very well with a minimal amount of setup. I own 4 of the units and would not consider using anything else.

All in the setup, I have not heard too many good things about the 3GX till recently. many flyers have been satisfied.
The beastx fits my pocket and wiring so that is what I use and have no complaints.

I am giving my first vbar a try this upcoming weekend. I have flown a lot of units and I really like the TotalG and the BeastX. With the beastX having an edge over the totalg in that it's more consistent and less susceptible to changes. Tired of having to tweak the TG. Beastx just works....all the time. All vbars I have flown to date feel robotic and behind my inputs. I am hoping that is just the difference of others setups vs what I like.

The TotalG has the most connected realistic feel and the BeastX is a very close 2nd. I am looking forward to see what I can get the vbar to feel like.
